John Craig Flournoy is an investigative reporter for the Dallas Morning News for whom he has worked for 22 years. His work covers civil rights movements. Flournoy currently teaches at Southern Methodist University and teaches courses on computer-assisted reporting, investigative reporting, history of American journalism and communication law. Form 1997-1998, Flournoy was the Phillip G. Warner Professor of Journalism at Sam Houston State University.
