Ekkehard Wlaschiha is a German operatic baritone who specializes in Wagnerian villains of the "howling-and-spitting" type, such as Alberich, Klingsor, Friedrich von Telramund, Don Pizarro, and Kaspar. Recordings are available of all these roles. He was born in Pirna, Germany and studied music at the Musikhochschule in Weimar. He can be seen on video as Alberich, and as Telramund.
