Michael Jenkins is an Australian film and television writer, director and producer. Jenkins directed Emerald City, a film adaptation of the David Williamson play of the same name, and the 1993 film The Heartbreak Kid. Jenkins co-directed the 1988 television miniseries The Dirtwater Dynasty. His other works include writing the script of the 1983 film Careful, He Might Hear You.
