Moist

Moist is a five-piece Canadian alternative rock band that gained popularity in the mid-to-late-1990s. The band originally formed in 1992 and has released three official studio albums to date, with a fourth in progress and tentatively planned for release in 2014. An eponymous independent demo was released in 1993, and a singles compilation album was released in 2001. The band is led by lead singer David Usher, and features Mark Makoway on guitar, Jeff Pearce on bass, Kevin Young on keyboards, and originally featured Paul Wilcox on drums up until the band's hiatus, replaced by Francis Fillion in 2013. Moist experienced an extended hiatus for over a decade between 2001 and 2013, officially reuniting in June 2013. The reunited band then began a live tour titled "Moist – The Resurrection", in reference to their 1996 single "Resurrection". As of March 2014, the band has written 9 songs for their upcoming fourth official album, tentatively titled Moist IV.
