Rona Pondick is an American sculptor. She studied under Richard Serra at the Yale University School of Art. Her work, which offers a feminist critique of Freudian theories of sexuality, can be divided into two stylistic periods: her earlier output largely consisted of mixed-media abstractions of mouths and breasts, while her more recent works are human-animal hybrids cast in various metals. Her work is in the collection of the LACMA and the MOMA, among other museums.
