WPIX, virtual and VHF digital channel 11, is a CW-affiliated television station located in New York City, New York, United States. The station has been owned by the Tribune Company since its inception. WPIX's studios and offices are located at the Daily News Building in Midtown Manhattan, and its transmitter is located atop the Empire State Building. WPIX is also available as a regional superstation via satellite in the United States and Canada, and on cable television providers within the Northeastern United States. The station's signal is relayed on low-powered translator K35BR in Carlin, Nevada, which is licensed by the Carlin TV District.
