WRUL Radio

WRUL radio started out in 1931 as an experimental shortwave station W1XAL in Boston, Massachusetts.  On September 7, 1939, the FCC assigned it the call letters WRUL and was operated by British Security Coordination, and was sold to Metromedia in 1960.
