Elliotte Friedman is a Canadian sports journalist. He currently works on CBC Sports programmes including hosting and appearing on the Hockey Night in Canada segment The Headliner. Before joining CBC, Friedman worked for The Score network. He also reports weekly for Fan 590, where he began his broadcast career in 1994 and did play-by-play for Toronto Raptors games on both radio and television and reported on Toronto Blue Jays games in 1998. He did freelance for the London Free Press and the Toronto Star. He was awarded the Telemedia Reporter of the Year in 1996. He attended the University of Western Ontario but never graduated.
