Homer Alfred Neal is an American particle physicist and a distinguished professor at the University of Michigan. Neal is vice president of the American Physical Society. He is also a board member of Ford Motor Company, a council member of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and a director of the Richard Lounsbery Foundation. Neal was the interim President of the University of Michigan in 1996. Neal's research group works as part of the ATLAS experiment.
