Thomas Homer-Dixon currently holds the Centre for International Governance Innovation Chair of Global Systems at the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a founding director of the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation, at the University of Waterloo, and professor in the Centre for Environment and Business in the Faculty of Environment, with a cross-appointment to the Political Science Department in the Faculty of Arts. He was previously director of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Trudeau Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, a division of the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.
