The 19th Annual Panasonic Gobel Awards : Winners Announced

The 19th Annual Panasonic Gobel Awards honoring the favorite in Indonesian television programming/production work/individual, was held on October 14, 2016, at the XXI Ballroom, Jakarta Theater in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. This year edition of ceremonies awards was themed for “Kebanggaan Indonesia”. Omesh, Ayu Dewi and Irfan Hakim have been hosting for this year edition of ceremony awards

The winner for the 2016 Gaylactic Spectrum Award in Best Novel category was announced at Gaylaxicon 2016, held October 7-9, 2016 in Minneapolis MN, at the DoubleTree Hotel Minneapolis-Park Place.
The Gaylactic Spectrum Awards honors outstanding works of science fiction, fantasy and horror that explore LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender) characters, themes, or issues in a positive way.

The 2016 Ig Nobel Prizes were awarded on Thursday night, September 22, 2016 at the 26th First Annual Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony, at Sanders Theatre, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
The 2016 Ig Nobel Prize recognizes scientific research that makes you laugh, but then makes you think. While possibly less prestigious than the Nobel Prize, winners can take satisfaction in knowing their hard work raises interest in science around the world. The theme of the 26th First Annual Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony was “Time”.

‘March,’ ‘Saga’ and ‘Peanuts’ are big winners at the 2016 Harvey Awards

Mid-sized comic publishers were the biggest winners at the 2016 Harvey Awards, which were presented Saturday, September 3, 2016, in conjunction with Baltimore Comic-Con. The Image hit series, Saga, and the historical drama from Top-Shelf, March: Book Two, both won big at the awards this year. The Harvey Awards have been a staple at Baltimore Comic-Con for the past 11 years. The only industry awards that are both nominated and selected by comic book professionals, the Harveys recognize outstanding achievement in more than 20 categories.

Drake Leads BET Hip-Hop Awards with 14 nominations

BET released the official nominees for its 2016 Hip-Hop Awards, and not surprisingly Drake leads the pack for the third year in a row, racking up 14 nominations in the wake of his new album VIEWS.
The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards will be taped on September 17 at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The show airs on BET on Tuesday, October 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

TCA Awards 2016: People v. OJ Simpson, The Americans take top honors

The 2016 Teen Choice Awards ceremony was held on July 31, 2016 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The ceremony was hosted by Victoria Justice and John Cena. Justin Timberlake received the inaugural Decade Award. Audiences also were treated to performances from Flo Rida, Charlie Puth, Ne-Yo, Jason Derulo and Empire’s Serayah. This 18th annual event was broadcasted live on Sunday on Fox.
