The Winners of the 2016 International Ibsen Award

The International Ibsen Award, the world’s leading theatre award, is awarded to individuals or institutions that have made a significant contribution to the development of theatre as an art form. The British theatre group Forced Entertainment is the winner of the 2016 International Ibsen Award. The winner receives NOK 2.5 million which is financed by the Norwegian state through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

TCA Awards 2016: People v. OJ Simpson, The Americans take top honors

The 32nd Annual TCA Awards event was held at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel, on 6th August,2016 hosted by THE CW’s JANE THE VIRGIN fan-favorite Jaime Camil. The winners represented an eclectic blend of shows and stars in 12 distinct categories, putting the spotlight on the best of the best in comedy, drama, reality, miniseries, news, and youth programming.

The Hyundai Mercury Prize, which honors the best British album of the past year as chosen by a panel of British music critics and industry figures, has announced its shortlist. The six finalists and winner will be announced during the 2016 Awards Show at the Eventim Apollo on 15 September, which will feature performances from the shortlisted artists.

The Australian Writers’ Guild has unveiled the nominees for the 49th Annual AWGIE Awards which reflect the abundance of outstanding work currently being produced in Australia. Winners will be announced at The AWGIE Awards on October 14 in Sydney. John Collee, Shaun Grant dominate AWGIE award feature film nominees.
