David Edward Williams, known as David Walliams, is an English comedian, actor, author and television presenter, well known for his partnership with Matt Lucas on the BBC One sketch show Little Britain and its predecessor Rock Profile. He and Lucas wrote and starred in the BBC sitcom Come Fly with Me. Since August 2013, he has written and starred in the BBC One sitcom Big School, playing Chemistry teacher Keith Church. Since 2012, David has been a judge on the ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent and he compèred the Royal Variety Performance in December 2012. Beginning in 2008, Walliams has written six children's books, three of which have been made into one-off films for BBC One, airing around Christmas time. These include Mr Stink which he wrote in 2009 and aired in 2012, Gangsta Granny which was written in 2011 and made into a film in 2013 and The Boy in the Dress, Walliams' first book in 2008 will be adapted into a film for Christmas 2014.
