Empress Karen Carreon Schuck, sometimes credited only as Empress, is a Filipina actress and commercial model who is currently a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. Before she became a Star Magic artist, she first appeared on several GMA-7 shows such as Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin as Young Claressa, in Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw as Young Elmina and in Etheria as Cassiopeia. She studied at Espiritu Santo Parochial School until the 1st year. She transferred to a different school the next year. She now studies at Angelicum College in the home study program. Schuck is the daughter of a German father and a Filipina mother. She plays the guitar and piano. She was discovered by ABS-CBN when she was eight years old. When she was eleven years old, Schuck appeared in Bida Si Mister, Bida Si Misis. Schuck's first movie was 9 Mornings, when she was nine years old. In 2003, she won the Most Popular Child Actress in the 2003 Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Schuck was seen on GMA when she played the role of Young Cassopeia in Etheria. She also appeared in Super Inggo as Ava Avaniko. Schuck was known as Hillary in Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv and Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv, Ur Lyf 2.
