John Clifford Moffet is an American former competition swimmer who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. At the 1984 Olympics, he finished fifth in the final of the men's 100-meter breaststroke event. He had his best year in 1985, winning three gold medals at both the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Summer Universiade. Moffet is a three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for The Amazing Race.
