Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon is an American basic cable and satellite television network that is partly owned by the MTV Networks Kids & Family Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom. Nickelodeon was launched on cable television April 1, 1979, with its predecessor Pinwheel, a TV show which aired on QUBE in late 1977. As of August 2013, Nickelodeon is available to approximately 98,799,000 pay television households in the United States.
