Lynda Myles is a British writer and producer. She served as director of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, director and curator of film at the Pacific Film Archive, University of California, Berkeley, Senior Vice–President at Columbia Pictures, Commissioning Editor for Drama at the BBC for two years, and as co-Executive Director of the East-West Producers' Seminar from 1990–1994, a training program for young producers in Eastern Europe. After co-producing the movie The Commitments in 1990, she worked independently as a producer, making The Snapper, The Van, The Life of Stuff and When Brendan Met Trudy for BBC Films. She recently co-produced Chen Kaige's Killing Me Softly for the Montecito Picture Company. She is often confused with the American writer and actress of the same name.
