Sreenivasan has written the screenplays for films such as Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam, Gandhinagar 2nd Street, Nadodikkattu, Pattanapravesham, Varavelpu, Sandesam, Midhunam, Azhakiya Ravanan, and Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu among others. As a writer and actor he has frequently collaborated with directors such as Priyadarshan, Sathyan Anthikad and Kamal. As an actor he is famous for his on-screen chemistry with Mohanlal.
