Kevin Bivona

Kevin Bivona is a Grammy Award-winning American multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer. He is best known as the bass player for the Transplants and the lead guitarist for The Interrupters. In 2005, Bivona got his start as the touring keyboard player for The Transplants on the Vans Warped Tour. Following the Warped Tour, he began to work around Los Angeles as a recording engineer. This led to continued involvement with Transplants through the years, as well as working with +44, Paul Wall, Dirt Nasty, The Cool Kids, Psycho White, and collaborating on Travis' solo record Give The Drummer Some. On March 2, 2011, Kevin appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with Travis Barker and Cypress Hill, performing "The Beat Goes On" off Barker's debut solo album. On March 7, 2011, Kevin appeared on Conan O'Brien with the Transplants performing "Saturday Night" off Travis' solo record. In 2011, Kevin engineered and mixed the Grammy Award Winning Jimmy Cliff record Rebirth produced by Tim Armstrong. Aside from his production work, he also played guitar and piano as part of The Engine Room, a group of musicians assembled by Armstrong in order to best recreate the classic late 60s/early 70s Jamaican sound.
