Peter Scolari is an American television, film and stage actor best known for his roles in the television shows Newhart, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, and Bosom Buddies, the last of which he co-starred in with a then-unknown Tom Hanks. Scolari married his third wife, long-time girlfriend, Tracy Shayne, on June 21, 2013. Scolari plays the father of Lena Dunham's character on HBO's Girls. He was previously married to Debra Steagal and Cathy Trien, with whom he shares two children.
