Wycombe Wanderers F.C.

Wycombe Wanderers Football Club is an English professional football team from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. The club first entered the Football League in 1993 and currently plays in League Two. The club's nicknames are "The Chairboys" and "The Blues" and the name of their stadium is Adams Park. The current manager of the club is Gareth Ainsworth, who was appointed as player/manager following a period during which he served as caretaker manager, after Gary Waddock was relieved of his duties following a 1–0 defeat at home to AFC Wimbledon on 22 September 2012. Ainsworth retired from playing at the end of the 2012–13 season. He is assisted by Richard Dobson. The club was awarded the Family Club of the Year award twice in a row in 2006–07 and 2007–08. This is the only time that the award has been given to the same club in consecutive seasons. The club received a Football League Family Excellence Award after the 2009–10 and 2011–12 seasons.
