The Faraday Medal is a medal awarded by the Institution of Engineering and Technology
The bronze medal is awarded without restriction as regards nationality, country of residence or membership of the Institution. It is awarded not more frequently than once a year. The award was established in 1922 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the first Ordinary Meeting of the Society of Telegraph Engineers and is named for Michael Faraday.
