John Pass is a Canadian poet. He has lived in Canada since 1953, and was educated at the University of British Columbia.
He has published 18 books of poetry since 1971. His book Stumbling in the Bloom won the 2006 Governor General's Award for English poetry. His most recent book "crawlspace" won the Dorothy Livesay Prize in 2012.
Pass taught English at Capilano University from 1975 to 2007. He lives on BC's Sunshine Coast near Sakinaw Lake with his wife, poet, essayist and novelist Theresa Kishkan
