Campbell Lutyens was founded in 1988 by John Campbell, Richard Lutyens and Bill Dacombe. Campbell, after starting his career at NM Rothschild was an executive director of Noble Grossart, an Edinburgh-based merchant bank. Lutyens was formerly a director of SG Warburg and of Merrill Lynch International. Dacombe was formerly a director of NM Rothschild and Royal Bank of Scotland.
