Imanol Uribe is an award-winning Spanish screenwriter and film director.
He was born in San Salvador, and is of Basque ancestry. Uribe was married to MarÃa Barranco. He has won the Goya Award for Best Director for DÃas contados as well as the San Sebastian Film Festival's Golden Shell for Bwana.
