Asha G Menon is a noted playback singer in Malayalam, who at the age of 15 won the state award for the best female playback singer in 2001. The song "Aaradyam Parayum" in the film Mazha directed by Lenin Rajendran starring Biju Menon and Samyuktha Varma proved to be a turning point in her life. Asha is an aspiring singer who has also proved her talent in several music albums over the past years. She is also currently anchoring a popular program, Hrudayaragam on Asianet Plus since two years or so.
