Marc Márquez i Alentà is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer and current MotoGP world champion. He is one of four riders to have clinched world championship titles in three different categories; he won the 2010 125cc World Championship, the 2012 Moto2 World Championship, and the 2013 MotoGP World Championship; for the latter title, Márquez became the first rookie in 35 years to accomplish the title in his first season, and the youngest to win the title overall. He is the older brother of Moto3 racer Ãlex Márquez.
