| Lovie Lee Smith is the current head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He was previously the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2004 to 2012. Smith has been to the Super Bowl twice, as the defensive coordinator for the 2001 St. Louis Rams and as the head coach for the Chicago Bears in 2006. The Bears fired Smith on December 31, 2012 when the team failed to reach the playoffs after achieving a 7-1 record at the season's halfway point. | ||
