Chris Doyle is a multi-media artist who lives in New York. His major public projects have included LEAP, presented by Creative Time in Columbus Circle and Commutable, presented by the Public Art Fund on the Lower East Side, both in New York City. His work has also been shown at The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Queens Museum of Art, P.S.1 Museum of Contemporary Art, the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, Germany, and as part of the New York Video Festival at Lincoln Center.
Doyle's recent projects include Vault and The Moons, both in Kansas City, MO; and the multi-site 50,000 Beds presented simultaneously at Artspace, Real Art Ways and The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.
Doyle received his B.A. at Boston College School of Arts and Sciences in 1981 and received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University in 1985. In 2014, he was named a Guggenheim Fellow.
