Alejandro Rossi wrote philosophical essays, short stories and the following books: Lenguaje y significado; Manual del DistraÃdo Manual of the Absent-minded; Sueños de Occam; La fábula de Las Regiones, Edén: Vida imaginada. Ortega y Gasset in collaboration; he edited José Gaos' Anthology: FilosofÃa de la FilosofÃa. Rossi won the Premio Nacional de LingüÃstica y Literatura in 1999.
