Nelson Coral Nye is an award-winning American author of Western fiction who wrote close to 125 titles and co-founded the Western Writers of America guild. He wrote under the name Nelson C. Nye, as well as the pseudonyms Clem Colt and Drake C. Denver.
Nelson was a recognized expert in quarter horses, and wrote several books on the subject horses of his time.
Nelson lived on Silverbell Road in Tucson, Arizona.
