Constance J. Chang-Hasnain is an electrical engineer, and John R. Whinnery Chair Professor, at University of California, Berkeley.
She graduated from University of California, Davis, with a B.S. in 1982, and from University of California, Berkeley, with an M.S. 1984, and Ph.D. in 1987. She taught at Stanford University.
She is a Fellow of the IEEE, OSA and IEE, and Editor for IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technologies.
Her research interest includes VCSEL, high contrast grating and nanostructure growth.
