Robert "Bob" Peterson is an American animator, screenwriter, director and voice actor who works at Pixar Animation Studios. He made his directorial debut on Up, in which he also voiced the character Dug. He was hired by Roger Gould in 1994 and started as an animator for commercials. He then became an animator on Toy Story.
