Ken Jacobs is an American experimental filmmaker. He is the director of Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son, which was admitted to the National Film Registry in 2007. His Star Spangled to Death is a nearly seven-hour film consisting largely of found footage. His students have included Art Spiegelman. He taught at the Cinema department at Harpur College at Binghamton University. He retired in 2003. His son Azazel Jacobs is also a filmmaker. He is a recipient of the American Film Institute's Maya Deren Award.
