Phil McCordic is a multi-award winning writer, producer, director and actor.
Phil graduated from the University of Windsor, class of 1996 with a B.F.A. in Acting. He went on to work as a host forYTV, where he hosted the morning block, the B-zone. He went on to be a correspondent on YTV News. In 1998 he joined TVO Kids where he was the host of the popular after-school block "The Crawlspace" for over 4 years.
During that time he started to branch out into writing and producing television. McCordic has been part of numerous tv productions mainly focused in Kids' TV. He wrote, performed in and produced several stand-alone shows for TVO, most notably Tumbletown Tales where he voiced the main character as well as 12 supporting characters.
McCordic went on to be the Senior Producer and Director of Kids' CBC where he garnered much acclaim during the 4 years he was there.
In 2012 McCordic left CBC to Create his own show, Zerby Derby, which airs on TVO, TFO and Sprout. The first season was quickly followed up by a second season which shot in the fall of 2013.
