Governor Moscow was a liver and white Pointer and winner of the 1925 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He was the first Pointer to take best in show at Westminster, despite the fact that the club's logo prominently features a Pointer. He was purchased by Pittsburgh coal magnate Robert F. Maloney as a hunting dog, and was noted as being excellent at it. He went on to sire nine other champion dogs. One of his descendants, Chiming Bells, went on to win the 1958 Crufts best in show. |
