Aarti Shrivastava is an award-winning Indian documentary filmmaker based in Mumbai. Aarti started her career as a news reporter working with CNBC. She later worked as a researcher on an Australian Documentary based on Mumbai terror attack of 26/11 before directing her two Award winning documentaries titled Land of widows and White Knight, which were well received in the international festival circuit including Official Nomination in 7th Al-Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival Doha 2011.
In 2013, she directed her third documentary titled 'Foresting Life' which won the National Award for the best environmental film in the non-feature category.
Aarti has worked in Bollywood movies like 'My Name Is Khan, Kambakkht Ishq and was besides the senior executive producer for the reality show Sur Kshetra
