Raymond Stora is a French physicist and research director emeritus at the French National Centre for Scientific Research where he is engaged in particle physics research. Stora studied at École Polytechnique between 1951 to 1953, and then at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received a doctorate in 1958. Stora was elected as a correspondent to the physics section of the French Academy of Sciences. In 2009, Stora was awarded the Dannie Heineman Prize for Mathematical Physics. |
