Bryan Davis is an American Christian fantasy author, his most popular works being the Dragons In Our Midst series and the Oracles Of Fire series, written for young adults but which proved popular with many Christian parents as well. Bryan was born in 1958 and grew up in the eastern U.S. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Florida. In high school, he was a member of the National Honor Society and voted Most Likely to Succeed. Although he is now a full-time writer, Bryan was a computer professional for over 20 years. In trying to get published he was rejected 200 times. He lives with his wife, Susie, and three of their seven children in western Tennessee. One of his daughters, Amanda L. Davis, wrote Precisely Terminated, and Noble Imposter, she is now working on Viral Execution. His first novel was a story he wrote in order to teach them how to write, but he began to focus more on fantasy after having a dream about a boy who breathed fire Eventually this grew into Raising Dragons, his first published work of fiction. He is currently at work writing Dragons of Starlight, a new series that will consist of four young adult and three adult books. The latter series being called "Tales of Starlight". Also, he is writing a third dragon series called "Children of the Bard". The first installment is titled The Song of the Ovulum, and was released in July 2011.
