Asa Taccone is the son of Sue Ellen and Tony Taccone, and was born in Berkeley, California. He is the lead singer of the indie rock band band Electric Guest together with Matthew "Cornbread" Compton. When they are on tour, brothers Tory Dahlhoff and Todd Dahlhoff join them on scene. His older brother Jorma Taccone is part of the trio The Lonely Island together with Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg. Asa has produced some of The Lonely Island's music for Saturday Night Live Digital Shorts and has received an Emmy for the song Dick In A Box. Asa started out producing rap and has also written songs for Charlotte Gainsbourg.
